| Not quite so many came this year compared with our last visit in 2012, but the forty or so members and their friends who came this time in eighteen of our club cars enjoyed a most relaxing day in the warm sunshine and pleasant surroundings on the North Lawn of this prestigious National Trust property.
It was a very busy day for the property as a whole as the public car parks were packed, and many visitors were surprised and interested as they passed our line of cars on their way to the House or their own walk in the Park, and our presence was recorded on many camera shots. The National Trust make no charge for allowing us to park on their lawn on this special day, but nevertheless we shall donate half of the modest entry fee we levied to them, the rest being for the benefit of our Section funds.
