Bonhams Car Sale at Goodwood Festival

Automotive history was made at the Bonhams Goodwood Festival of Speed Sale, on Friday 12 July 2013, when the car that took five-time champion Juan Manuel Fangio to the second of his Formula 1 world titles achieved a record-breaking figure of £19,601,500. The sale as a whole made £36 million.

This rare Mercedes racing car became the most expensive car ever sold at auction when an anonymous bidder bought it for 19.6 million pounds.

This 1955 300S Sports-Racing Spider set a new world record highest price for a Maserati at auction. It sold for £4,033,500.		1934 Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Le Mans Tourer sold for £1,905,500.

1965 Ferrari 500 Superfast Coupé sold for £852,700.		1953 Austin-Healey 100 Special Test Car was sold for £785,500.
