| The seventeenth Goodwood Revival was held at the Goodwood Motor Circuit, Chichester, on 12-14 September. It is the world's most popular historic race meeting, and recreates the golden age of motor racing between 1948 and 1966. Celebrated this year were sixty years of the Maserati 250F grand prix cars and sixty years of the Jaguar D-Type. Each day a track parade marked fifty years since Sir Jackie Stewart's first test drive in a single-seat racing car at Goodwood. There were also spectacular Historic Air Displays, Freddie March Spirit of Aviation concours and the Earls Court Motor Show. Vintage fashion, live music and dance of the era also added to the whole atmosphere. |
