| The weather forecast for the day was correct - rain spreading in from west to east - so I decided as did many other members, to leave the club car at home. In autumn and winter you can dry the car off but it still stays damp. In summer the garage is warm so the car will dry. That being said six members did brave the rain and brought their club cars. Thirty-seven members met up at this delightful pub on the edge of the South Downs. And at 12.30pm we all sat down to a splendid lunch and friendly company.
