| What could be better on a sunny early spring morning than driving through country lanes at the foot hills of the South Downs to a charming old world pub for Sunday lunch? Some thirty-five members managed to complete the three or four mile obstacle course along a winding narrow lane, avoiding ubiquitous cyclists, numerous pot holes and the occasional family of deer before arriving in good time for tea or coffee, a chat in front of the log fire before sitting down for an excellent lunch. In the front of the Foresters Arms we had a splendid display of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars representing almost the whole spectrum of manufacture from a 1923 20hp all the way up to a modern Phantom, whilst in the main car park at the back we had an MG TC, MGB, Scimitar and a Morgan V8.
