| In the depths of the Sussex countryside, The George at Eartham is normally a delightfully quiet country pub on Sunday mornings. However, our outing there changed all that. Twenty-two immaculately prepared Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars overfilled the car park and no less than fifty-seven members enjoyed a cup of coffee and a chat before completely filling the dining room for an excellent lunch cooked by Lenny who, until recently, was Chef at the Goodwood Park Hotel.
Although The George has changed hands several times of late we have always been well received and looked after. Hopefully this will continue for many years to come and we can look forward to our next visit to the 'quiet' Sussex countryside.
