CHICHESTER ROMAN WEEK 25 - 31 MAY

Chichester Roman Week celebrates Chichester's Roman Heritage with a series of events every May half term. In 2019, Chichester Roman Week, led by The Novium Museum, will bring Roman history to life with a variety of events in and around the Chichester District, including re-enactments, talks, trails, guided tours, family activities and immersive theatre.

WEALD & DOWNLAND LIVING MUSEUM - HALF TERM ACTIVITIES: THE NATURAL WORLD 27 - 31 MAY

Head to the Weald & Downland Living Museum for fantastic indoor and outdoor hands-on history fun this half term focusing on the Natural World. Activities run from 11am-4pm daily and include roll a wax candle; roll a paper planter pot and plant your own seed; paper crafts and colouring; make a pop up butterfly card; shadow drawing. The activities will vary daily.

CYCLING: SALTERNS WAY AND CENTURION WAY


The Salterns Way cycle path is a lovely way to explore Chichester Harbour and is great for families looking to get out and active.

The Centurion Way cycle and walking path is mostly wide and flat with some slopes making it ideal for younger children. There are plenty of interesting things to look at along the way including sculptures which commemorate various aspects of local Chichester History.
