West Dean College
West Dean House, built in 1804, is one of the finest flint mansions in the country. Edward James inherited the estate, and in 1964 established a charitable educational trust. West Dean College opened in 1971 and now students are taught past and present arts and crafts in this splendid setting.   © Photo: Ian Burt
