The north-west quadrant allows some attractive views into
this quarter of the City and to the Cathedral. This section lends itself to wheelchair users as
it has a well-established surface and there are gentle sloping ramps at either end.
Half way along this section are steps down to Tower Street. From this
viewpoint you look down on the scene shown to the right.
Tower Street, so named because it is adjacent to the separate Bell Tower
of the Cathedral.
Walkers enjoy this elevated promenade from which to do their sight-seeing.
The remains of one of the bastions which has become detached from the Walls.
