Passed away on Monday 16 July 2007
|Long time member of our Section and Club, Jack Pennell passed away at 9am on Monday 16 July following a massive heart attack. Jack would have been eighty five in November.
The following details for the funeral have been received from Paul Capper:
The Funeral Service in celebration of Jack's life will take place at St Mary's Church, Church Road, Bishopstoke, Eastleigh, Hampshire, SO50 6DA. (This is the nearest postcode by 500 yards. This is the rectory as the church does not have a postcode. The rectory is in Stoke Park Road - drive past this turning and straight up the hill. St Mary's is on the right. There should be ample safe parking for club cars in the community centre car park directly opposite the church. My staff will also be in attendance at all times to cast a watchful eye).
On Tuesday 24 July 2007 at 12.30pm. Followed by private interment at Bishopstoke Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, but donations if desired and made payable to 'The Friends of Countess Mountbatten House', c/o Paul Capper Ltd.
This is the hospice that looked after Dorothy and Jack's late daughter, Tina, who died five years ago. Dorothy's express wish is for as many members and friends of Central Southern Section to attend as possible, as their family is now quite small and Jack felt that many members were like a second family.
There is a reception wake afterwards and Dorothy has again expressed a wish for all to attend and raise a glass to Jack. From a catering point of view, Dorothy would like to know approximate numbers attending.
If I can offer any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact me.
