COMMITTEE TOUR AND MEETING AT ROLLS-ROYCE MOTOR CARS, GOODWOOD 3 October 2005

Central Southern Section committee members were treated to a tour of the Rolls-Royce Manufacturing Plant, by the Corporate Communications Manager, Andrew Ball. After a splendid buffet a committee meeting was held in the conference room. Subject to confirmation, it is hoped that this will be the regular venue for committee meetings during 2006.

Officers and committee members: Andrew Honour (Treasurer), Dennis Windows (Editor), Simon Buck, David Steel, Dick Lees (Spares and Technical Officer), Michael Marriage, Maurice Pitchford, Doug Groves, Tony Leach (Chairman) and Ted Meachem (Secretary). The motor car is a 1912 Silver Ghost London to Edinburgh Underslung, chassis number 1884, fitted with a tourer body, designed by Mulliner. Photos: Ian Burt
