VISIT TO PARSONAGE FARM, BILLINGSHURT
Wednesday 27 July 2016

Our second visit to this stunning garden, organised by Robin Brailey.

My first visit and I have to say, an extremely impressive home. A farm in a previous life with 200 acres of land, much of which has been carefully nurtured to become a huge garden of garden rooms. Statues probably full size of giraffes seen grazing on the foliage of distant trees, an amphi theatre, rose gardens and orchards, a Romanesque summer house and long grassed vistas between carefully tended hedges and secret wooded areas.

The owners, David and Victoria Thomas, although having to be at work, laid on a delightful luncheon and we raised £370 which we presented to them for their favoured charity SUDEP together with a letter of appreciation thanking them for their hospitality,
