THE TITHE BARN, OLD DITCHAM
Sunday 19 May 2013

For the second time we were invited to the home of Mr and Mrs Jeremy Oates who live at Ditcham near Petersfield, Hants. The thirty or so cars were parked on the lawn to the south of the Tithe Barn which is a medieval building, restored in recent years, and now used for weddings and social functions.

The weather was promised to be dry but by lunch time there was some light rain. This meant that many members decided to use the barn to enjoy the hog roast lunch supplied by our outside caterer. The food provided by them is always very tasty.

During lunch Keith Jay was presented with his thirty year membership badge by our chairman, Mr David Gray, followed by a token of our Section's thanks to our hosts.
