SOUTH OF ENGLAND RALLY
Polesden Lacey Estate, Great Bookham - Sunday 19 May 2002

Main organisers of the rally this year were Surrey Section assisted by members of the other four Sections. The entrance gate was manned again by Tommy Welham and Philip Francis at this excellent venue with parking on the grass to the east of the main house on a dry sunny day. Members were able to visit the historic house and enjoy the gardens, lakes and woods of the estate. There was a complete range of all models in the 310 Club cars gathered. The Club shop, spares stall and raffle prize table was housed in the usual marquee. To one side was a large marquee housing the main sponsor, Montague and Company and to the other side a display from Mike Scott. Opposite in their own gazebo the Dixieland Jazz Band added a nice lively air to the meeting.

Special thanks to Doug Groves for organising and manning the spares stall with Dick Lees, Clifton and Isabel Spencer for organising the raffle, and to members of the other Sections for marshalling duties.
