| It does seem that our winter activities which include a lunch of roasts and a carvery are by far the most popular of our events. Once again we returned to one of our favourites, the Rowlands Castle Golf Club.
It is always amazing that, even be it just a carvery, the amount of preparation and timings required to suddenly feed 60-70 hungry diners must be a daunting prospect, especially when they all sit down at the same time.
Just one last minute cancellation, so we had over sixty members arriving in fourteen Bentleys and fifteen Rolls Royces. Included was a new toy for Ray and Mary Thatcher, who arrived in their latest acquisition, a gleaming Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. Our congratulations to them!
Our thanks and appreciation to our golfing BW Tony Leach for organising this event.
