| A gloriously sunny day with a cooling breeze. Who could ask for anything more?
Well over one hundred Club members and friends settled for something extra.
Thanks to the generosity of Mark and Susie Tidy, the Section was once again invited
to an Open Day at their lovely home - 'Littlebrook' near Cowfold.
Thirty-six motor cars ranging in age from 1912 to 2005 were parked up alongside the lake and in
the adjoining field by 12.45pm. The visitors all enjoyed a welcoming glass of 'fizz'
kindly provided by Mark and Susie.
Lunch was available from 1.00pm onwards supplied by the local fish and chip van. Several
members commented on the excellent quality of the food provided. Final number of lunches
served was 108.
Before or after the meal; many of us enjoyed browsing through Mark's wonderful collection
of veteran cars as well as his various Rolls-Royce and Bentleys.
As a small token of our thanks Susie was presented with a bouquet of flowers, and Mark with an
engraved decanter.
To various helpers on the day personal thanks from the BW.
