| It was one of those days, rare this summer, when the weather was perfect for a picnic - sunny, warm with cooling breeze. Twenty-four Club cars parked on the meadow to the east of the National Trust property known as Uppark House in West Sussex. It is many years since we visited this House which was completely destroyed in a fire twenty years ago and restored to its former glory after years of painstaking work by skilled craftsmen. Again one of our dedicated members, whose car fails to procede these days, came by train, bus and on foot to join us and take his many photos of the cars - match that
for enthusiasm! My thanks to all the participants who made this a day to remember.
