BENTLEY WILDFOWL AND MOTOR MUSEUM, HALLAND
Sunday 16 August 2009

Wildfowl   Over forty members and friends enjoyed one of the sunniest days of the summer at Bentley in East Sussex. We found plenty of attractions to more than fill the day. Not only the motor museum with its changing selection of vehicles as owners take them out for occasional use, but there was the miniature railway with both electric and steam engines to ride, the House adorned with beautiful flowers arranged by the ladies of Lewes and the gardens, the craft workshops and the wildfowl areas.

As usual the staff made us very welcome and managed to arrange a visit by the RR Merlin-engined, two-seater special, driven from Dunsfold (Top Gear) that morning.
