An absolutely perfect Spring day, more suited to a picnic than a Pub lunch, produced a dazzling display of twenty-two gleaming Club cars at The George. In addition to those staying for lunch we had courtesy visits from Tony Smith, with his impressive 1925 Phantom I and Paul Lewis and Mo Reeve who joined us for a friendly chat.

Ray Thatcher's Phantom II and Mark Tidy's 20/25 were parked in front of the George with Tony Smith's Phantom I and considerable interest was shown in these, both by passers by and local people.

Many chose to enjoy their morning coffee and chat at the tables in the garden on such a lovely day. Then we filled the restaurant and forty-seven had a two course lunch before chatting in the sunshine and wending our ways home.
