This event, although run by South Eastern Section, also involved Central Southern and Surrey Sections with a turnout of around fifty cars at the premises of Royce Engineering at Betchworth just below the Surrey Hills.
Members were able to wander around the workshop facilities and also the 'for sale' displays of mostly modern models.
During the afternoon the total of the entry donations paid by members on arrival, that amounted to almost £400, was handed to our hosts, Paul and Patrick from Royce, as a donation towards the Surrey Air Ambulance charity. This was followed by a presentation of a forty year membership badge to Peter Seamer by Clifton Spencer (South Eastern Section Chairman).
Luckily the day remained dry, with occasional sunny spells, to allow picnicking on a rather less than summer's day.
