|Twenty three Club motor cars parked on River Lawn on the day of the Hickstead Speed Derby. The south boundary, of the lawn, allowed for members to picnic in the shade or in the sun as was their choice. There was a lot to see both around and inside the arena with the international standard show jumping going on all day. Unfortunately the show programme was so crowded this year that there was no time for us to parade our motor cars. Good to see some faces we have not seen recently and also good to see members from other Sections. Thanks to Ralph Taylor for 'manning the gate' and taking the entrance fee from those members who had not pre-booked. Our thanks to Liz Bunn and her family for allowing us to visit Hickstead again this year and to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere.
