SEDGWICK PARK, HORSHAM
Sunday 22 June 2008

Despite a change of date, competition from the Club National Rally at Kelmarsh, confusion over the starting time and a not over optimistic weather forecast a dozen members and their cars put on a display of Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars as an added attraction for the village fund-raising Fayre for the local Nuthurst church.

Members enjoyed a picnic in a lovely sunny location or could purchase home made baguettes and sandwiches and cakes on the terrace of the house to the accompaniment of live music by the concert band or a real piano. After lunch there were displays of birds of prey, country dancing by the local school and belly dancing plus all the craft and gardening stalls.

Despite an occasional gust of wind the sun held out and an enjoyable fete was enjoyed by our members and I believe the organisers of the event had a successful day.
