| Fifteen Club cars braved the rather unseasonal weather to provide a decent
display of motorcars on the grass close to the house at Exbury Gardens near Beaulieu, home to Mr & Mrs
Edmund de Rothschild. The colourful blooms of the azaleas and rhododendrons were rather washed out,
but were still worth the walks around the gardens, although rather muddy in places. Some visitors
even took the steam train around part of the gardens to save getting wet! Inevitably by four o'clock
the sun actually came out, but far too late for the majority who had made their way home. We must
return again when sunshine is guaranteed. Many thanks to Dick Lees for running the day.
