| After several weeks of completely dry weather, 12 February dawned wet - very wet. The rain fell steadily and the morning forecast said it would continue to do so until mid-afternoon. Sadly, the forecast turned out to be 100% accurate.
Nevertheless, fifty-two members and guests arrived at The Gribble Inn and sixteen had brought their Club cars. These ranged from Chess Ferrier's 1924 40/50 to our Chairman's, recently out of the box, Bentley Flying Spur.
After a welcoming cup of coffee and a chat, everyone sat down to an excellent Sunday lunch before setting out in the rain for home.
