LUNCH AT HASKINS ROUNDSTONE GARDEN CENTRE
Sunday 17 April 2005
Twenty one cars duly arrived at The Roundstone Garden Centre on a beautiful sunny, mild Sunday. Eighty years of Rolls-Royce production was represented ranging from Ray Lockett's magnificent 1912 Silver Ghost to Ted Meachem's equally magnificent 2002 Corniche and together they all made a really fine display.
After a welcome cup of coffee and a chat fifty-four sat down to a full Sunday lunch before partaking of a little retail therapy in the well stocked sales area. It was then a matter of heading for home to plant out all of our purchases and dust off our cars ready for the Henry Royce Memorial meeting on Friday 22nd.
