SUNDAY LUNCH AT THE CROSSBUSH RESTAURANT NEAR ARUNDEL - 13 May 2001

The Central Southern section of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club met for lunch at the Crossbush near Arundel on Sunday 13 May. The club had not visited this venue for several years and since it has just been refurbished it seemed an ideal time to renew acquaintance.

Instead of the normal week day menu the restaurant put on a roast Sunday lunch (at slightly higher price which we managed to negotiate down) - roast beef, roast lamb, roast turkey, roast chicken, choice of sweets, etc.

In the event it was a beautiful sunny day. Fifty members turned up in some twenty-two cars, almost half of them vintage or classics, and since the restaurant had allowed us exclusive use of the main car park in front of the dining room we were able to put on an unusually good display to go with the excellent lunch.
