LUNCH AT THE LINKS, LIPHOOK - Sunday 11 March 2001
This was a new venue for us, suggested by Dennis Windows, and it proved to be ideal. The
location was admirable because it is close to the geographic centre of our Section. The
car park was spacious for our motor cars (and the regulars' cars) and as the weather was
kind there was plenty of outside chatting before and after lunch by our members. The event
was fully pre-booked early on and so Dennis started a reserve list. As it turned out there
were a couple of cancellations and so this made room for the reserves.
The Dining room, service and the food were all excellent. Our thanks to Dennis (and Maurice)
for the organisation. It would be good to return again.
