Birdham village has a church, an excellent local village store and a petrol station. There are a great
variety of pubs and restaurants within easy distance.
Martins Five Barn lies on the newly established Salterns Way and there are excellent walks and cycle
routes in the area. The South Downs are only a short drive away with excellent views across the Solent. Riding, tennis, golf and sailing can be organised locally.
We are ten minutes from Wittering and Itchenor, fifteen minutes to Chichester and Goodwood, and just
a twenty-five minute drive to historic Portsmouth to the west (giving access to the Isle of Wight) and
a similar distance to the east to Arundel.
