| The Goodwood Festival of Speed was held on 22-24 June at Goodwood Park, Chichester. This event
is now firmly established as the world's greatest celebration of the history of motor sport. The theme this
year was 'Spark of Genius - Breaking Records, Pushing Boundaries'. The Festival brought together a rich mixture
of past and present motor racing heroes, demonstrating an exceptional selection of vehicles from every corner
of the globe. Lewis Hamilton, the Formula 1 superstar, enthralled his fans with a run up the Hill in atrocious
weather conditions. Sunshine and showers on Friday and Saturday, and a continuous downpour throughout Sunday
could not dampen the enthusiasm of visitors or competitors. |
