| Every year the Goodwood Festival of Speed has an overall motoring theme. This year's
was 'Racing Colours - National Pride and Culture', celebrating the cars and motorcycles and their
makers of many different countries. An historic line up of rare vehicles from the earliest 1899 Panhard
et Levassor to the latest Formula One cars and their teams competed on the famous hill climb. There
was a spectacular new Forest Rally Stage on the hillside above Goodwood House which brought authentic
WRC action to the Festival. And the display of beautiful automobile design in the Cartier 'Style et
Luxe' provided something for everyone. |
