Bonhams Car Sale at Goodwood Revival 2006

The sale of important sports, competition and collectors' motor cars and automobilia was held at the Goodwood Revival, Chichester, on Friday 1 September. The Bonhams team has been intimately connected with the Revival meeting since its inception. In this sale prices generally exceeded expectations, some reaching over twice the estimates.

(Le Mans) sold for a staggering £370,000.
  A 1963-64 Lola-Chevrolet Mk6 GT
Endurance Racing Coupé went for £364,500.
  The 1946-47 Frazer Nash-BMW 328 Sports and Touring Two-Seater sold for £249,000.

A 1931 Bentley 4/8-Litre Four Seater
Le Mans Replica sold for £210,500.
  A 1938 Jaguar 3.5-Litre SS100 Two-Seat Sports Tourer was sold for £155,500.   1965 Jaguar E-Type 4.2-Litre Coupé which sold for a very reasonable £19,550.
