This year, the event will not be an exact replica of the Gala of former years. The City Council

Gala Queen and Princesses will be there.
Events leading up to the Gala include: A Traditional Jazz Concert on 13 June at the Assembly
Rooms. A Tea Dance will be held on 21 June at the Assembly Rooms.
There will also be Cuckoo Competition and, on 24 June, The Portsmouth Festival Choir performs
Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle at St Paul's Church, Northgate.
